Wildlife Conservation Efforts
JWP Outdoors greatly values the safety and health of Texas wildlife – mule deer and beyond! Our mission to enhance and protect wildlife populations in the Texas panhandle took another step in 2021 to ensure the health and safety of mule deer not only on our managed properties, but any other ranch that may need assistance in maintaining good herd health of their wildlife. We are proud to announce that our founder and owner Justin Payne is now certified to harvest samples for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) testing. Unfortunately, the spread of CWD is becoming more prevalent across the state, and we are actively taking all precautions to ensure good herd health on all of our managed properties.
